Relationship Is An Asset

Genesis 2:18
God said, “It’s not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper, a companion.”
Relationship is one of the most valuable assets you can have. Building a healthy relationship is a great investment. You build a relationship; you don’t buy it. Don’t treat a relationship like a commodity- something you buy, use and throw away. It’s not wise to pursue things or money at the expense of a God-ordained relationship.
As a human, you can’t do life alone. God said, “It is not good…” Don’t even try it. Don’t act like, Mr. “I-don’t-need-anybody-Everybody-need-me.” Sure! You need a companion. You need a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Look at Jesus, He disciple his followers through God-nurtured relationship. He didn’t use the classroom. He lived with them, ate with them; they were literary together 24/7. And through that relationship, he changed the course of history. The relationship was the vehicle through which Jesus accomplished his ministry.
Today, God wants to use your relationships to His glory. Refresh them and invest in them.
