Music From The Heart

Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19

“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you…” “…Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father…”

My wife and I have come to a point where we don’t take for granted spiritual melodies and songs. God has spoken to us and encouraged us through such means on several occasions. How possible it is to make music from your heart? You can organize a music concert, playing all kinds of instruments, singing with gratitude from your heart to the Lord. This can happen while you are driving, cooking, working, I mean anywhere. The next person may not even hear you but you completely plug-in to the Spirit.
The father searches for those that will worship Him in spirit and truth. Deep calls to deep. Spiritual songs have a way of deepening your intimacy with the father. When the Holy Spirit puts songs or melody in your heart, let it move your feet to dance. Let it bust out of your mouth into songs of praise and worship. Give physical expression to the melody in your heart so that others can be blessed and be ignited in their Spirit.
I can’t describe the overflowing joy that graces your heart as you flourish in the habit of singing and making melody or music from your heart to the Lord.
