“For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.” “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
Every house is built by someone. No house builds itself. No happy home builds itself. No successful marriage builds itself. Everything good is built by someone.
But God is the builder of everything. You can only build what God has built. Jesus said, “I can of mine own self do nothing… The Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.” John 5:30, 19. That’s why many get frustrated building what God has not built. The more they try the more things fall apart; because God is not in it.
God can build you a happy life. He can build a broken relationship. He can build you a heaven on earth marriage. He can build you a lovely home. He can build you, God-fearing children. He can build your faith to move mountains. What is your desire, name it! God is the builder of everything.
Don’t get frustrated or angry because you can’t do it. You really cannot. But God can. Let Him build through you. God is at work in your love life, join Him.
