2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
What do you do in your private prayers? God has given us the grace to share intimacy with Him. So that through our intimate fellowship with Him; we can change the course of nations; wake up a sleeping church; bring healing to homes and families, avert judgment, and turn the world upside down for Jesus.
Wonderful things happen in the place of intimacy with God. It was in the secret place, Moses gave God reasons why He should have a change of mind about destroying the people of Israel and God listened to him.
We can turn the tide of history by seeking God in prayer. We can change the world on our knees. Billy Graham said, “…a man is more powerful on his knees than behind the most powerful weapons that can be developed.”
The secret place has been the greatest weapon of the church. The answer to our problems can be through contact with God– if only hearts made pure by Christ are willing to pray.
As you reflect on your intimacy with God, remember God is depending on you. You are in a position to turn things around for good. Start it now….beginning from today.
